Stand united in support of the women in all our lives. In 2005, more than 40,000 participants came out in support of this important cause.  By participating and raising funds, you help not only those women with cancer, but also the friends, families and loved ones whose lives have also been affected.  Last year, more than 2.6 million dollars were distributed to the 15 beneficiaries of the REVLON Run/Walk For Women.  Each year we grow closer to finding a cure and in the process, find superior methods of treatment.  Contribute to the cutting-edge medical breakthroughs and diagnostic treatment services for underserved women and partake in the continued hope inspired by this event! Thank you Ellen!    Click here to view Ellen's gown As we step back to reflect on the 10th Anniversary of the Revlon Run/Walk, we remain both awestruck and overwhelmed by the strength and dedication displayed by all who joined us to celebrate this year. This event speaks loudly the truth held in the saying, “Unity in Diversity”. Personal reasons for participating run the gamut...some are supporting friends and family, others join in celebration of their triumph over the disease while some come to share their hope that they too may soon join the growing ranks of those who are blessed enough to refer to cancer in the past tense. Whatever the individual motivations may be, when combined with the voices of 40,000 others, the message sent rang clear last Saturday; we are in this battle together, we will beat this disease and most importantly, WE WILL NOT BE SILENCED UNTIL WE FIND A CURE! In a fitting display for the 10th Anniversary, this year’s event brought forth the largest number of participants, with over 40,000 people gathering as runners, walkers and volunteers, not to mention countless others who supported the efforts with generous donations. In the 10 year tenure of this event, tens of thousands of women and their families have benefited from support services and untold numbers have benefited from the research and medical breakthroughs directly attributed to the funds YOU have helped raise. Nearly 45 million dollars have been distributed to date before this year’s record breaking figures add to that total. Because of you, we are 2,560,000,000 steps closer to the cure and we hope that you are able to stand back with pride and absorb the magnitude of what amazing strides we have taken together over the last ten years. None of this would have ever been possible without the support and efforts of each of you reading this today.
